I want to live deliberately. Eat good food. Walk slowly and not always take the easy path. Do yoga each morning and stop to watch the sunset each night. Spend more time outside than in. Wake up in a tent as many mornings as possible, whether in the backyard or the backcountry.
Hold my wife’s hand and hug more. Consume my time with family and teach the boys to love the land, life and adventure, no matter how small. So they can grow to be good stewards to this place, to people, to themselves.
I want to make His word and teaching a priority. Disconnect from the connected world and have meaningful, insightful and simple conversations. Make the effort to connect with friends and enjoy their company.
I want to learn to see life through the unclouded eyes of our children.
