My forehead is growing lager
My hair is removing itself,
taking root on my shoulders.
The children joke this is what the song is really about.
There is one long hair positioned just so
it looks like a flaccid horn.
One hair continually springs up on the apex of my right ear
Twisting to peer down at the growing hoards on my shoulder.
What is the point of hairy ears and shoulders as we age?
Are the children right,
as they often are.
Will I soon have a bald head and excessively hairy shoulders, knees, and toes?
